【讲座预告】AFM/Raman联用技术及应用:如何获取纳米尺度下的物理化学信息-上海交通大学-6月5日

人阅读 发布时间:2015-06-01 14:55

主办:上海交通大学分析测试中心、HORIBA Scientific(Jobin Yvon 光谱技术)

报告主题:High-speed Tip-Enhanced Raman Imaging--Physical and Molecular characterization at the nanoscale

主讲:Dr Marc CHAIGNEAU

时间:2015.6.5(周五)下午13:30

地点:上海交通大学闵行校区分析测试中心321室

摘要:Tip Enhanced Raman Scattering (TERS), a technique that provides molecular information on the nanometer scale, has been a subject of great scientific interest for 15 years. In this talk, specifics of the TERS setup that enable fast, high pixel density nano-Raman imaging will be discussed: The innovative integration of technologies brings high-throughput optics and high-resolution scanning for high-speed imaging without interferences between the techniques. The latest developments in near-field optical probes also provide reliable solutions for academic and industrial researchers alike to easily get started with nanoscale Raman spectroscopy. Thanks to those latest instrumental developments, we will present the nanoscale imaging of chemical and physical properties of graphene and other carbon species, with a spatial resolution routinely obtained in TERS maps is in the 10 nm range.

讲师:Dr Marc CHAIGNEAU(AFM/Raman Product Manager at HORIBA Scientific)

简介:The activity of Dr Chaigneau is to oversee the instrumental development, the worldwide marketing and sales of Raman spectroscopy products coupled with Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) for co-localized measurements and Tip Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (TERS).

Marc Chaigneau has previously made an academic career at Ecole Polytechnique, France. His activities concerned the instrumental development of nanoRaman (TERS), the stimulated TERS, and a new multimodal scanning-probe microscope. His work also covered applications of these instruments, namely the characterization of mechanical stress in semicon-ductors, the imaging of carbon-based nano-objects and studies of self-assembled organic molecules.
Mr. Chaigneau was awarded in 2013 by the ASTRE prize (Actions of Support for Technology and Research) from the General Council of Essonne, France. He has published over 30 scientific articles and 3 international patents.
